In order to promote excellence in the field of Rheumatology BHPR provides a range of bursaries and awards. These are all awarded following open competition. Those that are BHPR specific are open only to those registered as BHPR members.

- BHPR Educational Bursaries: Up to £500
These bursaries are awarded to enable a member of BHPR to make an educational visit/attend a course/conference which will enhance their rheumatology skills or knowledge. - BHPR Clinical Prize: £200
This prize of £200 is designed to award a piece of clinical work that you have carried out, which is relevant to rheumatology practice. It could be an educational booklet, a review essay, a case study, an audit, a new clinical service etc. - arc BHPR Silver Medal Research Prize: £500 and a Silver Medal
This prestigious annual award is given to the one applicant deemed to have submitted a piece of research which is of the highest quality and overall contribution to rheumatology. It must be relevant to the work of rheumatology health professionals. - arc Physiotherapy Silver Medal Prize: £500 and a Silver Medal
BHPR is currently managing this award. This award is made annually to the one applicant deemed to have submitted a piece of research or clinical work that is of the highest quality and overall contribution to rheumatology physiotherapy. - BHPR Student/Recently Qualified Health Professional Prize:
an overall package worth up to £600
This prestigious annual award is presented to any student in the UK undergoing health professional training at the Undergraduate/Diploma level, or within two years of qualifying, who in the view of a panel of judges is deemed to have submitted a piece of work that enhances patient care / contributes to the body of knowledge of rheumatology clinical practice. Applicants do not have to be members of BHPR.

Complementary registration at the BHPR Spring conference
Travel costs up to £100
