Membership is open to all health care professionals who wish to strengthen their involvement and education in rheumatology and who wish to share their knowledge and expertise, or are simply new to the field and would welcome the opportunity to network with fellow professionals in this speciality. New members from overseas are particularly welcome.

BHPR Membership Categories

  • Full membership

    Open to any qualified and state registered professional with a special interest or experience in any field relevant to rheumatology. The benefits include the right to attend and vote at business meetings and to participate in the activities of the BHPR.

  • Honorary membership

    This is awarded at the discretion of the BHPR Council and is given to those who have made a significant contribution to promoting Allied Health Professionals in Rheumatology

Applying for membership:

To apply, fill in the Application Form  and return it to us. Currently, to be a full member you must be a state registered, qualified health professional. Please supply details of your state registration number. Applications are put to the Council for approval and the candidate will be notified shortly afterwards of the Council’s decision. Payment will then be due.

Membership Rates:

Full Membership (Annual):

  • UK (Direct Debit): £25 per year
  •  UK (Cheque): £30 per year
  • Half year from 1 July: £15 (for the first half year)
  • Overseas: £30 (per year)
