The modular programme, accredited by the University of Brighton, will be of interest to those working in extended, specialist or community roles in rheumatology, including nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists and podiatrists. The course is primarily on a distance-learning basis, with some attendance at study days for each module at Rheumatology teaching centres around the UK.
The course starts in October and May each year. Modules can also be taken individually for CPD.

Admissions criteria will apply, including evidence of some clinical practice with rheumatology patients each week and the identification of a suitable work-based mentor.
