Membership categories

Ordinary members

Open to individuals with professional qualifications recognised by any professional medical organisation or profession allied to medicine. 

Associate members

Open to individuals whose knowledge and skills, in the opinion of the Council, would normally be recognised in identifying the individual as a professional healthcare worker. Associate Members shall be entitled to attend all meetings and activities of BHPR but shall not have the right to vote at meetings or be eligible for holding office. An Associate membership application form must be accompanied by a supporting statement from an Ordinary BHPR member.
