This provides a good general overview of osteoporosis for patients. There is a basic easy to read outline of osteoporosis and the anatomy and physiology of bones. There is an interesting discussion about who is at risk and the potential causes. 

Of most interest are the chapters on the management of osteoporosis and the associated symptoms. The authors discuss current medication options and future developments.

This book would be useful, not just to patients, but to anyone wanting to gain knowledge about osteoporosis.
