Your application must be proposed and seconded by two existing members of BSR.

Please email us at subscriptions@rheumatology.org.uk if you have any queries about finding a proposer.

We aim to process all applications within 6 weeks.

Membership categories

Ordinary Membership
Open to anyone working or normally resident in the UK or Republic of Ireland who has a special interest or experience in a field relevant to rheumatology.
Overseas Membership
Open to anyone working or normally resident outside the UK and Republic of Ireland who has interest or experience in a field relevant to rheumatology.
Retired Membership
Open to ordinary members who retire from practice - either by reaching customary age of retirement or through ill health.
Non-Clinical Scientist Membership
Open to applicants in a non-clinical, non-tenured scientific post. Those in a tenured post are not eligible for this category.
Tenured Clinical Scientist Membership
Open to scientists working in a tenured position. This category of membership is only available to UK applicants.
