10 June 2005

The British Society for Rheumatology notes with concern the research into non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDS).

We are keen to review the data in more detail before commenting further. Any information concerning the safety of drugs that treat arthritis should be taken seriously and patients who have concerns about taking NSAIDS including COX II inhibitors should contact their GP or rheumatologist.
