North East

About BSR * Committees, SIGs and Regions * Regions * North East

The North East region holds eight educational meetings per year. These rotate through the main centres in the region and are well attended. The meetings take place on Tuesday afternoons and are linked with SpR training meetings in the morning. Twice a year they hold meetings for business matters and for Specialised Commissioning. The region has a strong record of peer review and most units are now approaching their 4th peer review visit. The region has recently received excellent feedback for the registrar training scheme.
