The society's committees, staffed by volunteers who give their time, skills and knowledge to us, each focus on a different area of work, such as policy, service improvement, delivering conferences and the educational programme, or membership areas such as trainees. After a successful election, we are pleased to present the newest additions to our committees!

President-Elect: Dr Sanjeev Patel

The President-Elect is responsible for chairing the Board of Trustees and being an ambassador for the society. The society has always thrived under strong leadership, and has been privileged to work with many influential professionals from the world of rheumatology, including current President Dr Elizabeth Price, who is due to step down in 2020. We look forward to working with Dr Patel in his position as President-Elect until he takes up his full post at the AGM.
