This popular BSR course is back with a programme packed full of content for all rheumatology professionals it is the perfect opportunity to get the whole multi-disciplinary team under one roof.

With two parallel streams, as well as keynote lectures, the course will provide delegates with an educational update as well as the chance to exchange best practice with peers through interactive group workshops.

The course has been organised in collaboration with the Scottish Society for Rheumatology.

Programme

Sessions for all include:

  • What you need to know about: The kidney and the skin
  • What you need to know about: The lungs and the gut
  • What you need to know about: GCA and other vasculitides

Sessions for consultants and trainees:

  • Rheumatological emergencies: Managing the hot joint
  • Rheumatological emergencies: Managing in patient /GP referrals
  • Transitional and adolescent rheumatology
  • Radiology for the Rheumatology Trainees
  • Research and the rheumatology trainee

Sessions for allied health professionals and nurses:

  • Assessing Disease activity in inflammatory arthropathies
  • Therapeutic decision making in a Nurse led Clinic
  • Work and Health
  • Technology and Health
  • Career development opportunities in Rheumatology for nurses and AHPs.
