- BSR is an active member of the Arthritis and Musculoskeletal Alliance (ARMA). ARMA is the UK umbrella association bringing together patient groups, professional bodies and research organisations in the field of arthritis and other musculoskeletal conditions. BSR works closely with ARMA’s member organisations including Arthritis Care, Arthritis Research Campaign and the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society on campaigning work of importance to the arthritis community.
www.arma.uk.net - BSR has good links with the Royal College of Physicians (RCP) through our active participation in the rheumatology joint specialty committee. We have also worked in consultation with the College on several National Institute for Clinical Excellence (NICE) technology appraisals and other consultations affecting the specialty.
