Where specialist training takes place
Central and North East London: GOSH and UCH. The rheumatology department at GOSH is the largest paediatric and adolescent rheumatology department in the UK. Special interest areas staff members focus on include lupus, dermatomyositis, bone inflammation, juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA), JIA-associated uveitis, adnexal inflammation, fever, ERA, cerebrovascular inflammation, scleroderma, myositis, systemic lupus erythematosus and vasculitis.

South London: trainees are part of the London Deanery and the majority take part in the MSc in Rheumatology, run through Kings College London, in their first few years. Senior training days are run throughout the region. Trainees are in mostly rheumatology/GIM positions in the non-teaching hospitals
