Consultation is now open for our new guideline for pain management in people of all ages with inflammatory arthritis (IA).
This topic was proposed by our members as a new life-course guideline in 2023. Since then, a multiprofessional working group of experts and people with lived experience have reviewed all applicable evidence to develop 23 recommendations to optimise pain management in people with IA, hoping to improve the lives of hundreds of thousands of people across the UK. The original published scope can be viewed here.
The draft guideline is now open for a four-week consultation period, in line with our Guideline Protocol. Comments are welcomed from individuals, groups or organisations.
To submit comments, please email the completed consultation form to guidelines@rheumatology.org.uk.
The consultation period closes at 17:00 on Thursday 7th May.
