British Society for Rheumatology (BSR) app terms and conditions 2019

  1. Contract formation These terms will become binding when you download the app. 
  2. Provision of services We will make every effort to deliver the app to you in accordance with information supplied but you will understand that this is subject to change and we cannot guarantee particular speakers will be available or attend to speak. In addition, we will use every effort to ensure that any technical problems do not interfere with the provision of the app, but in the event that technical problems are an issue this will not be treated as a breach of our obligations to you. 
  3. Intellectual property rights The copyright and other intellectual property rights of the app are retained by us/speakers. You may not use the materials, documents or other items for any commercial purpose. 
  4. Data Protection We will include your personal details (name and job title) in the attendee section of the app. This will allow anyone who downloads the app to see who is attending the event. This can help with networking for example on the chat function through the app.
  5. Promotional information On downloading the BSR app you will see promotional information including advertisements that relates to pharmaceuticals and third party companies. This will include push notification if you have these turned on. 
  6. General The law governing this agreement shall be the law of England and Wales and we both submit to the jurisdiction of the English Courts. A party who is not party to these terms and conditions shall not have any rights under or in connection with them under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.
