BSR is committed to making the Annual Conference accessible and inclusive for all delegates. We strive to ensure everyone can fully participate in our events, whether in-person or online.
Getting to the venue
- To help you familiarise yourself with the route to the venue from the closest train station and how the venue looks, we've included a quick video clip below.
Physical Accessibility (In-Person Attendees)
- The venue is wheelchair accessible and includes lifts.
- Accessible toilets are available on all floors.
- Reserved seating is available for delegates with mobility needs.
Venue Facilities
- An interactive map of the venue is available on the event platform (swapcard) to help you locate session rooms, facilities, and other key areas
- Dedicated prayer and feeding rooms are available. Please ask our registration team for directions.
Hearing & Visual Support
- Hearing Loops: Available in the main conference rooms.
- Disclaimer: Subtitles are provided in English only and are AI-generated. Please note that some medical or pharmaceutical terms may not be fully accurate.
- Subtitles: Available for livestreaming only (not for on-demand videos). To activate, press the CC button within the conference platform, Swapcard. Subtitles are available on both the desktop and mobile versions of the platform.
Cognitive / Neurodiverse Support
- A quiet space is available at the venue. Please ask our registration team for directions.
Digital / Online Access
- The conference will be available on demand for six months, until Friday 30 October 2026. Extensions cannot be given on the closure date.
- The conference platform is compatible with Userway, a web widget that allows accessibility tools including screen-readers. Please note this is only available on the desktop version of the event platform and not the mobile app.
Additional Support & Requests
To help us meet the needs of all delegates, we can also provide:
- Dietary requirements: can be selected when you register for the event.
- Assistance animals: support animals are welcome.
- Medical & emergency support: first aid is available on site.
- Flexible attendance: support for delegates with chronic conditions or fatigue, including breaks and seating flexibility.
- Advance requests: please let us know in advance if you have specific accessibility needs so we can prepare.
