Researchers in the CLUSTER consortium want to hear from professionals who are involved in JIA-uveitis care and/or research as part of their EYE-CHART study. The EYE-CHART study will help determine which data items are most important for future JIA-uveitis research data sets.

“This is a great opportunity to learn from your expertise on the most relevant information for research on JIA-uveitis patients.", explained Saskia Lawson-Tovey, one of the researchers involved.
"The UK has valuable JIA-uveitis data sources that we would like to bring together for future research, which could result in improvements in the treatment and outcomes of these patients –we would like your help to figure out the most useful way to do this.”

The team want professionals involved in the care/research of patients with JIA or uveitis (for example academics, clinicians, or Allied Health Professionals) to complete the survey, which should take you approximately 20 to 30 minutes. The survey will ask you for limited information about yourself, and then ask for your thoughts on the different data items on patients, such as demographics, blood test results, medication, and JIA and uveitis-related information.

The data items in the survey have been selected based on existing JIA-uveitis datasets. Your views are vital for the EYE-CHART team to understand what professionals see as a priority for JIA-uveitis research and will influence how they bring together multiple JIA-uveitis data sources in the future. The team will analyse the results and compare them with their equivalent patient survey before they feed this into a second round of surveys.

Find out more and help Saskia and her colleagues with the EYE-CHART research by completing their survey before 18 March.
