The Best Practice Awards are back and will be opening for applications this September, giving you a chance to showcase your team's innovative practices. These prestigious awards recognise excellence in UK rheumatology and celebrate exemplary services that innovate and deliver best practice across every aspect of rheumatology treatment.
As we get closer to applications opening, we chatted to BSR’s CEO Sarah Campbell to find out what she’s looking forward to most as a judge and why these awards are so important.
“The Best Practice Awards are a highlight in my calendar. It’s when our value of being celebratory comes into its own. Hearing from our members across the UK about how they are transforming patient outcomes is nothing short of inspiring.
As a judge on this year’s awards, I’ll be looking for work that involves the whole MDT and demonstrates effective strategic engagement with patients and families. I’m hoping for projects with clear improvement methods and rigorous data collection as that will create lasting change. But mainly, I’m looking forward to the enthusiasm and pride that comes through all the applications”.
