Aimed at consultants, trainees, and allied health professionals training in ultrasound (US), this practical course is designed to help you to develop the ability to scan peripheral joints, provide a comprehensive review of regional musculoskeletal US, and develop clinical and technical knowledge.

The course programme focuses on the training of US in inflammatory arthritis and hot swollen joints and is designed for live teaching in small groups and hands-on patient examinations.

Designed for all levels of scanning experience, it's suitable for delegates with basic, intermediate or advanced understanding of US scanning.

Ultrasound course bursary

In collaboration with our ultrasound special interest group, we're awarding bursaries worth 50% of the final course price for Ultrasound in rheumatology practice.

Eligibility

  • You must be a BSR member

  • You must have access to an ultrasound machine

  • You must complete our online application form, providing details of your local ultrasound trainer or BSR regional chair, who's endorsed you attending the course

  • You must attend and complete the course

  • You mustn't be funded by another organisation

We'll let you know two weeks before the course whether you've been successful, and we'll send the funding to you six weeks after the event, using the address you provided in your application form unless stated otherwise.
