Board of Trustees

Members of the Board set the strategic direction of BSR's work and make up its governing body. We're looking for two member trustees to join the Board in newly-created roles. We welcome applications from all members with voting status.


These posts are great for developing leadership skills and comprehensive training is provided to help prepare you for the role. Please click on the two links below for further reading material on the Board of Trustees and the role description for the two available vacancies.

MDT Advisory Council

The Council is BSR's advisory body, and is responsible for local activity and supporting members at a regional level. We're looking for a number of regional chairs to join the Council; you must be based in one of the regions specified below. We encourage nominations from all members with voting status:


  • Regional Chair for Mersey
  • Regional Chair for North West
  • Regional Chair for South Central
  • Regional Chair for London North West
  • Regional Chair for London Central & North East
  • Regional Chair for South West
  • Regional Chair for South East Coast
  • Regional Chair for Yorkshire & Humber
