We have the following sponsored sessions taking place at this year's conference:

Contemporary immunopathogenic concepts and therapeutics options in psoriatic arthritis: 09:00 – 9:45, Abbey Room
Speaker - Professor Arthur Kavanaugh, Professor of Medicine, University of San Diego

This 45 minute session will comprise a 25 minute keynote lecture delivered by Professor Arthur Kavanaugh, (Professor of Medicine, University of San Diego) on advances in our understanding of the immunopathegenic mechanisms underlying PsA and the associated complications. This will be followed by a 15 minute presentation by Dr James Galloway (Senior Lecturer in Rheumatology, King's College London), who will provide an overview on some of the recent clinical trial programmes for novel therapeutics in PsA, with a focus on XELJANZ▼ (tofacitinab citrate). There will be a 5 minute Q&A at the end of the session.

An introduction to Adult Onset Still’s disease including disease characteristics; laboratory, genetic and clinical features. To explore the complexities and challenges associated with diagnosis and treatment of the disease with examples of patient case studies.

Managing the complexity of Psoriatic Arthritis: case study discussion

Speakers: Prof Bruce Kirkham, Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust & Prof Mark Goodfield, Consultant Dermatologist, Leeds 

Presentation of complex cases involving the multidisciplinary team involved in the care of patients with psoriatic arthritis. The content will highlight the complexities in the clinical decision making for patients with multiple co-morbidities. Discussion will include the challenges faced in selecting optimal treatment to maximise treatment outcomes for the co-morbid patient. The presentation will also include the latest data from the Taltz®       (Ixekizumab) clinical trial programme and real world experience.
