These two bursaries enable international members and and non-members to attend Annual Conference.

Deadline: 5:30pm, Friday 13 March 2020

Attendance at Annual Conference gives you the opportunity to enhance your rheumatology skills and knowledge, learn from expert speakers and access invaluable networking opportunities.

Applications are judged anonymously by a nominated panel. Judges will reach a consensus on the applications and award bursaries to applicants thought to benefit most from the conference.

Successful applicants receive:

  • Registration for the whole conference

  • Up to £1200 expenses entitlement to cover travel and accommodation

  • One year's free membership

Who can apply?

  • This bursary is open to all international rheumatology consultants, trainees, nurses and other health professionals

  • You can be a member or non-member (if you receive the bursary, you will be rewarded with a complimentary membership for the year)

Please note, if you receive a bursary you are no longer eligible to apply for further bursaries for two years from April 20, the start date of Annual Conference.

How to apply
You must submit:

  • A cover letter outlining why you would like to attend (100-200 words), why you would be suitable for the bursary (100-200 words), how you would use the experience to enhance your knowledge (100-200 words) and how you would implement what you've learnt to make a difference in your own practice (100-200 words)

  • Two-page CV (if you submit a CV longer than this, only the first two pages will be sent to the reviewing panel)
