This spondyloarthritis course is an opportunity for rheumatologists, rheumatology trainees, GPs and health professionals to become familiar with its clinical manifestation and management.

If you're a rheumatologist, rheumatology trainee, GP or health professional, this course is a fantastic opportunity to better familiarise yourself with the clinical manifestations and management of spondyloarthritis. You'll enjoy talks on pathogenesis, clinical assessment, imaging and prognosis, and take part in practical assessment sessions to improve your hands-on skills.

Learning objectives

  • To understand spondyloarthritis (both peripheral and axial disease)

  • To understand the ways spondyloarthritis can present in clinical practice

  • To gain insight into the use and misuse of imaging for spondyloarthritis

  • To learn clinical assessment techniques for patients

  • To understand the principles of drug and non-drug management of spondyloarthritis
