Decision-making process

All applications will go to a review panel for assessment before any decisions are communicated to applicants and any visits agreed and arranged with specific research centres.

Applying for leave

We will always aim to inform you of any successful application in good time to allow you enough time to book study leave. The visits will be arranged between successful applicants and the research centres, so will be flexible to allow study leave to be booked once dates have been agreed.
