This webinar delivers a curriculum-based update on antiphospholipid syndrome, including insight on clinical presentation and diagnosis, management and catastrophic APLS.

The topic is designed for trainees but the entire multidisciplinary team is welcome to attend.

Learning objectives:


  • Gain insight on the clinical presentation and diagnosis of APLS (including diagnostic / classification criteria)
  • Improve knowledge on management of APLS (asymptomatic antibody +ve, thrombotic APLS, obstretric APLS) including immunosuppression and anti-coagulation strategies
  • Develop an understanding of how catastrophic APLS can present and how to manage
