We are bringing together a multidisciplinary guideline working group to update the 2022 BSR guideline for the treatment of psoriatic arthritis. The updated guideline will take a life-course approach and will incorporate new evidence published since the previous iteration, including evidence on treatment of related conditions and comorbidities, new modes of action and treatment strategy. The work will be co-chaired by William Tillett and Laura Coates.
The group will also consider how the updated guideline aligns with related dermatology, gastroenterology and ophthalmology guidance, as well as the BSR JIA life-course guideline, currently in development.
We are looking for committed contributors with a range of professional and personal perspectives to help develop clear, evidence-based recommendations that are relevant to people with psoriatic arthritis across the life course. We are particularly keen to hear from nurses, allied health professionals, pharmacists and representatives from other relevant specialties, including dermatology, gastroenterology and ophthalmology, to ensure the working group reflects the multidisciplinary nature of psoriatic arthritis care.
