We are pleased to invite applications for vacancies on our Guidelines Steering Group (GSG) from
- Allied health professionals
- Pharmacists
Our guidelines programme continues to expand, and we now seek new representatives to join the GSG to support its role in overseeing the development and updating of our clinical guidelines.
These are interesting and impactful roles, contributing in an active way to our guideline resources and improving care for people of all ages with rheumatic conditions.
Just as our guideline working groups are multi-professional to represent the spectrum of healthcare professionals that support best practice in care for people with rheumatic conditions, so too our GSG seeks to provide a vast set of experiences across professional areas. As such, the AHP and pharmacy roles within the GSG are vital to represent these professional groups.
The GSG, a sub-group of the Clinical Affairs Committee, meet virtually twice a year and members are also active in reviewing all draft guidelines and guideline scope documents regularly via email between meetings.
