The National Clinical Impact Awards (NCIA) seeks to recognise and reward NHS consultants and academic GPs who perform over and above the standard expected of their role.
The Advisory Committee for the Clinical Impact Awards (ACCIA) has announced that the 2023 round will open for applications on 3 March and close on 28 April.
Changes to the awards process
The ACCIA has made significant changes for this year’s round. Applicants will no longer be able to secure the support of a nominating body in the form of a ranking and citation. This means that BSR, along with all other nominating bodies, will have no formal role in the awards process going forward.
Please note that nominating bodies are not permitted to edit, proofread, or critique applications.
