Our Best Practice Awards, held in partnership with Versus Arthritis, reward exemplary services and innovation across rheumatology. Despite the difficult times we are all living through, we felt now more than ever we wanted to celebrate all the hard work and dedication of rheumatology teams.
That’s why we’ve decided to continue to give your work the recognition it deserves by revealing our Best Practice winners for 2020.
Our winners all wowed the judges with their passion and commitment to making a difference in rheumatology.
The winners are:

Kellgren Centre for Rheumatology, Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust – Quality Improvement to Halve Non-Adherence to Methotrexate

North Bristol NHS Trust – The Living Well Pathway

Northern Devon Healthcare NHS Trust – Introduction of Virtual Clinics and Integration with Patient Portal Outcomes

University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust – Reaching Out: Developing Osteoporosis Services with Bristolians (this team was also recognised for Outstanding Patient Involvement)
Our judges were impressed by all eight shortlisted sites, all of whom showcased high-quality projects; we acknowledge how hard they are all working to improve the lives of patients.
