We’d like to welcome the new President of the Scottish Society for Rheumatology, Prof Duncan Porter, and thank the outgoing President, Dr Anne McEntegart, for her work.
Prof Porter replaces Dr McEntegart on our MDT Advisory Council as the co-opted National Chairperson for Scotland, and attends his first Four Nations meeting on 19 February.
During Dr McEntegart's tenure, Anne led on the delivery of Scotland’s first rheumatology taster day, spearheaded national efforts to support clinical nurse specialists and advocated for rheumatology services across Scotland with ministers, civil servants and our members.
Thanks Dr McEntegart for your service and continued dedication to Scotland's rheumatology multidisciplinary teams.
