The award-winning Leeds Spondyloarthritis Service is a true translational hub at the interface of clinical and basic science research. State-of-the-art imaging, early arthritis clinics together with a multi-disciplinary and multi-specialty care provision through the long running combined services with dermatology and gastroenterology colleagues place it at the heart of the EULAR-awarded Leeds Centre of Excellence in Rheumatology.

This fellowship will be delivered using a mixture of lectures, workshops and hands-on experience in clinical settings. Learning objectives for the fellowship are:

  • To gain an understanding of the pathogenesis and pathology in spondyloarthritis

  • To recognise the main clinical and imaging characteristics of axial spondyloarthritis and psoriatic arthritis

  • To update your knowledge in the management of axial spondyloarthritis and psoriatic arthritis

  • To familiarise yourself with the commonest clinical assessments in axial spondyloarthritis and psoriatic arthritis
