We'll be working with the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) to develop a jointly-badged guideline on the management of patients with Behçet’s disease. We’d love to hear from you if patients of any age with Behçet’s disease form part of your clinical practice, whether specialist in the condition or not, and/or you have experience in guideline development or are keen to acquire it.

BAD run an application process for membership of groups developing guidelines and we're mirroring it. Any consultants, trainees, AHPs or nurses who work with children, adolescents or adults with Behçets disease are encouraged to apply. Applications are by email and consist of a two-page CV detailing relevant experience and publications, especially in evidence-based medicine, combined with a fully completed ‘Declaration of Interests’. All declarations will be considered individually and as a group to ensure the best combination of experience and ease of management of any conflicts.

Representatives from ophthalmology, oral medicine, neurology, psychology, nursing (both dermatology and rheumatology) and patient groups will be part of the Group. Selection will reflect a range of experience and skills to produce a clinical GL relevant to management of patients in the UK.

BAD, like us, is accredited by NICE for its guideline development process. The first guideline meeting will be held in London later this year. Please share your interests via the survey below and submit your CV to Dr Chris Hiley, Clinical Projects Advisor, by 12pm on Monday 1 Jul
