North West rheumatic and musculoskeletal disorders transformation and sustainability network

We would like to thank everyone who participated in this highly engaging meeting in Manchester. The involvement of attendees and speakers was critical to its success on providing comprehensive information on how rheumatology services could be developed or evolve within the context of a changing wider healthcare landscape.

Meeting objectives:

  1. To provide an overview of the commissioning process
  2. To provide an understanding of what STPs are and what impact they will have on health care delivery
  3. How secondary and tertiary centres can work more closely
  4. Examples of innovations within rheumatology in the North West region
